Our Grade 9 girls embark on an epic trip to the Drakensberg in the third term each year, covering a distance of roughly 200 km.
What our girls have to say about the experience…
uHambo was an utterly unique adventure filled with emotion, different experiences and new discoveries.
uHambo taught each of us many things, like being grateful and appreciative, but the lesson that stood out the most was that, like the distance we had to walk each day, a limit is only something that you impose on yourself. We are all stronger than we think!
uHambo was an incredible opportunity that left us feeling closer to one another, humbled and inspired.

uHambo is not just a physical journey of hiking, cycling and horse-rising, but a journey of self-discovery and growth. We quickly learnt that our attitudes would determine our outcome.
On uHambo, we learnt the value of endurance, perseverance and gratitude.
