Meet Our Head of Boarding
Ronel Taylor
My journey at St John’s D.S.G. started in 2015 when my daughter, Amy, began as an Eaglet in Grade RR. I was also involved with the Parents’ Association, which allowed me to form friendships with other parents and staff. After spending some time in the UK in 2019, working in the Finance Department of a senior school, I discovered my passion for working in a school environment. In 2022, I was appointed as Boarding and Transport Operations Co-ordinator at St John’s D.S.G. I absolutely love being around the girls and experiencing the happy environment that boarding brings. It was with great excitement that I accepted the role of Head of Boarding in Term 3, 2024.
Outside of work, I am happily married to Trevor, and we have two easygoing children, Amy and Austin, and a lively, water-loving cat named Missy. Our favourite activities include days at the dam, camping trips, riding mountain bikes, watching school sports over the weekends, playing padel, unwinding by the pool at home and spending quality time with family and friends.
