Thank you for your interest in applying to St John’s D.S.G. Please follow the instructions below carefully to submit an application:

Please look out for the automated emails prompting you through the process.
It is not ideal to apply using your cellphone, but rather a device where you can view the full application screen.
Use standard lowercase text, e.g. Jane Smith, not JANE SMITH when completing the entire application form.
All sections of the application form must be completed.
Click on both tabs for parents’ and pupil’s details when applying.
You must enter the correct grade and year you are applying for when completing the application.

The following documents are required, so please have them ready before starting the application process:

Copy of pupil's unabridged birth certificate.
Copies of parents/guardians I.D.s (or Passport if not a SA citizen).
Copy of ID of the person responsible for fees, if not the parent.
Copy of two most recent school reports (not applicable for Grades RRR - R).
Copy of educational or any other professional assessments (if applicable).
Copy of Divorce Agreement and any documents relating to custody of/access to your daughter (if applicable).
Proof of payment of the application fee of R800 (banking details below).

SCHOLARSHIPS/BURSARIES: Please refer to our website for details regarding Scholarships and Financial Assistance, which are only applicable for entry in Grade 8.

Click on the link to start the application process. You will be required to enter your ID number, email address and cell phone number. VERY IMPORTANT – only do this once, i.e. do not enter the same details multiple times.

START YOUR APPLICATION

Once you have submitted the first section of your application form you will receive an automated email to continue the application process that will look like this:

Once you have read the email carefully, click on Continue Application and follow the prompts in the emails you will receive.

In agreeing to the Clauses, you will receive two emails to confirm your acceptance.
Complete the information requested for both parents under Family Details.
Click next tab to complete Personal Details of Child 1.
Upload the required documents.
Click on Finalise and submit the application.
Click on Confirm and submit the application.

*Please note that your application is only complete when you receive an acknowledgement from the school of receipt.
