It is with great sadness that we inform our St John’s D.S.G. family of the tragic passing of one of our Grade 8 pupils, Mosa Mothibi.
Mosa only joined St John’s D.S.G. at the beginning of the year but even in her short time with us, she made an incredible impact on everyone who knew her. Mosa had a love for dancing and drama, and although she described herself as shy, she came alive on stage, as we all witnessed at the Interhouse Slam Poetry Competition on 24 March.
Our hearts are with Mosa’s family and friends during this difficult time and we convey our deepest sympathies to them. Mosa will be remembered at St John’s D.S.G. as a cheerful, polite and much-loved young woman. We encourage all of our girls who are struggling with Mosa’s loss to please speak to our School Counsellor, Mrs Siobhan Bowen-Davies or our School Chaplain, Rev. Diane Pickford.
