On Saturday, 22 July, our Grade 11 girls celebrated “Jane Austen Day”. They enjoyed a High Tea, acted out parts of “Pride and Prejudice” (one of their English subject books for Grade 11), created storyboards of their scenes for film and took part in an 18th century-style dance class, courtesy of Ben’s Dance Studio. The girls thoroughly enjoyed their morning, so much so that they never broke out of character, and could be heard speaking with very posh English accents all morning!
