Our Grade 3s, who have been learning all about insects this term, visited Butterflies for Africa on Tuesday, 13 June. The girls were very excited to clamber on board the St John’s D.S.G. bus, and they were even more excited to reach their destination, where they were treated to an interesting audio-visual presentation, followed by a guided tour to see the beautiful butterflies.

“I loved learning about butterflies,” says Zekhethelo Mpungose. “My favourite moment of the day was when a butterfly landed on Mrs Beetar’s head!”
