Last week, our Grade 1 girls enjoyed a day out of the classroom at Everdon Estate, home of the Westfalia avocados and our very own Mrs Freese. The girls enjoyed a lovely long walk through the orchards, joined by Mrs Freese’s three dogs. On their journey, the Grade 1s passed miniature ponies, donkeys who brayed and spotted a sounder of warthogs and a dazzle of zebras. After jumping through the autumn leaves the whole way, the girls were treated to a picnic under the trees while admiring the autumn colours. Needless to say, the trip back to school was a quiet one!
