There was a lot more sparkles and glitter than usual in the Junior School today. The Grade 1s took part in their annual Fairy Day – a much anticipated event, according to Mrs Rowena Freese, our Grade 1 teacher. “Every year, the girls (and even their parents!) ask me when Fairy Day will be taking place,” Mrs Freese says. “It’s such a happy, fun-filled day, so I can understand why everyone looks forward to it – including me!) The Grade 1s took great delight in seeing one another in their fairy outfits and it was a wonderful day.
