One of our much-loved Music Teachers, Mr Joshua Boudan, first met Miss Ashleigh Jennings (a Teaching Assistant and Old Girl) at St John’s D.S.G. – the very same place Ash grew up – two years ago. The two had seen one another a few times around the school, as well as whenever Miss Jennings came to fetch her younger sister, Paige, from Marimba Band practice (which Mr Boudan leads.)
The pair eventually had their very first conversation in the Photocopying Room, where Mr Boudan jokingly accused Miss Jennings of parking badly in the school car park – a “pick-up line” that Mr Boudan’s brother has teased him about. Mr Boudan’s response: “Well, clearly it worked!”
Miss Jennings and Mr Boudan got engaged over half-term, and we are very excited for them! Congratulations to this very special couple!
