Grade 8 Orientation took place from Friday 18 January to Sunday 20th. Fortunately the weather was on our side and the girls enjoyed all the events organized by the Matrics!

On Friday 25 January, a few staff members, a parent and girls set off on a hike to Pillar Cave overnight. The hiking club has become very popular.

Sunday 2 March - Golf Day at Sakabula

On Sunday 2 March, the hockey girls held another fundraiser in the form of a Golf Day.
Our Hockey Captain, Lizelle Wessels, gave heart-warming thanks to the players, the girls and parents who kindly donated and sponsored magnificent prizes - so much so, that everyone who participated walked away with a prize!

 

ANTIGONE

The School play this year was Antigone.
Performances were held from Thursday 13 - Tuesday 18 March and the cast included boys from Maritzburg College.
The play is an Ancient Greek tragedy about the life of Antigone and her rebellion against King Creon and his tyrannical laws about the burial of her brother.
