Except for piano
and organ, it is advisable for students to have their
own instruments as the school does not provide them.
The Music Department has facilities for girls to practise
in individual cubicles and allows girls to use the
piano in theboardroom over weekends.
Choirs play an integral
part in the life of the school. Members are selected
after an audition. The Junior School Choir rehearses
with Mrs Solomon in school time - early on a Friday
morning. At the same time on Fridays, girls who are
not in this choir will have singing opportunity with
Mrs Forbes - in a contemporary choir.
